Carnival Games
I saw these heavy painted metal animals months ago at a shop, and was somewhat relieved to see them again when I went back weeks later. This time I bought them.
Manually cut and painted, these weighty metal animals, mounted on the base, were used in carnival games for shooting practice. The folk art quality and primitive shapes drew me to them, and we wanted to try to capture them for this blog.
These look like they have been hit many times and were the result of many prizes won at the carnival.
My game is skee ball personally, but I can appreciate these animals from the target shooting practice as well.
