Sea Urchin
Many years ago, Steve’s parents took us on a family vacation to Greece. Ten of us traveled to the Peloponnese and rented a house located on a private cove. Transportation was by boat for groceries and basic necessities. It was a week of paradise together. Stress was eliminated, life was basic, the weather was beautiful, and we all relaxed.
My niece, nephew and I spent days snorkeling and found loads of sea urchin. They were magical. These days, we reminisce about that week and the magic of those sunny days and the sea urchin.
The actual shells found in Greece are long gone, I have since managed to find many others. Collecting shells on Captiva Island in Florida, and periodically visiting the shop Evolution in NYC, has helped build this collection of shells.
Where have you found beautiful shells? Do you still have them? I'd be really interested to know.
